NCCER Assessments and Testing

ABC Central Texas is an NCCER Accredited Assessment Center providing Journey-Level craft certification assessments (including computer-based and performance-based evaluation) and Pipeline Operator Qualifications (OQ) Testing.

Assessment and Pipeline Testing must be scheduled in advance by calling 512 719 5263.

NCCER Assessment testing can be used to evaluate journey-level knowledge and skills of experienced craft professionals for pre–and-post-employment purposes, or to identify areas where upgrade training may be needed.

Pipeline Operator Qualification (OQ) Testing

PIPELINE TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT PROGRAM (PTAP): OPERATOR QUALIFICATION FOR LIQUID & GAS PIPELINES NCCER has developed the PTAP in cooperation with API. PTAP consists of pipeline curriculum and pipeline skill assessments to qualify pipeline personnel under the Department of Transportation’s regulation for Pipeline Operator Qualification. The pipeline assessments are tied directly to NCCER’s standardized pipeline curriculum and will determine qualification on selected covered tasks as identified by API and the industry.

  • • Results from NCCER Pipeline OQ testing automatically upload to ISNetWorld daily. 
  • • Pipeline OQ Tests are $20 each for ABC Members and $40 each for non-members. 
  • • Testing must be scheduled in advance by calling 512 719 5263.
