As an ABC member, you can make decisions influencing the construction industry and help shape ABC policies by being part of a committee. This is also a great way to develop your leadership skills and gain access to knowledge about the industry while networking with other industry professionals. The committees work hard and play hard at their meetings and socials. Pick the one (or more!) that stands out to you!

The Chapter Membership Committee members meet monthly to review the chapter’s membership retention and new member growth. Each committee member makes personal contact with current and prospective ABC CTX members and the committee acts as the “face” of the chapter. The committee plans and facilitates the chapter’s New/Prospective Member breakfasts and happy hours and is relied upon to act as the chapter’s business relations department.

The Chapter Workforce/Safety Committee meets monthly to discuss the chapter’s OSHA partnership, training and educational programming, and promoting careers in the industry to high schools and post-secondary programs.

The Emerging Leaders Group Committee (ELG) members meet on a regular basis to assist the chapter with developing programs that supports the growth of the emerging leaders that are employed by ABC member companies. The programs create opportunities for emerging leaders to build relationships, expand their skills and advance their careers while shaping the future of our industry.
